One of the '' collection created to strengthen the bonds of friendship between Scotland and Nigeria and to generate income for humanitarian projects in Nigeria. The work on developing the design was undertaken in collaboration with refugee and asylum seeker projects and multi-cultural organisations in Edinburgh and Glasgow exploring cultural similarities between the two great Nations of Scotland and Nigeria. Approved by the Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK in 2006 and registered with the Scottish Tartan Authority in 2007. The design incorporates the colours of the flags of the two nations.
